As part of our Safe Hands initiative, there are a number of resort protocols in place to ensure that your stay with us is both safe and enjoyable.

We would also like to share with you some of the government regulations for Austria which you will need to bear in mind when not on resort.

For yours and the team’s safety, all team members are wearing PPE in accordance with established guidelines and regulations in the hotel industry. We have also installed screens at high contact points around the resort.

Please ensure that you maintain the recommended physical distance between yourself and non-family members at all possible times.

General Destination
  • Fabric face masks must be worn in all public spaces in Austria.
  • CLC World recommends guests have a mask with them at all times during their holiday as entry may be refused to certain establishments without one.
  • It is compulsory to wear masks on public transport.
  • Taxis – a maximum of 2 people allowed per standard taxi and 4 in the larger people carrier. Masks must be worn.
Check In
  • Guests will receive required information about the resort and surrounding area in advance.
  • Only one member of the party will go to Reception, with all the passports of the group, to complete the check in process.
  • Protection shield will be placed at Reception.
Accommodation
  • The apartments are fully equipped with a personal kitchen and a supply of linen and towels.
  • The apartments will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using approved cleaning products.
  • The cleaning will have taken place no earlier than 2 days before occupation.
  • A number of soft furnishing items have been removed to increase hygiene protocol e.g. bed throws, cushions, rugs.
  • Guests can choose whether they require room cleaning during the stay or they would prefer a free drink in the restaurant.
  • Linen changes or requests for other in-room requirements will be delivered to your door without staff entering.
  • Please use the rubbish collection and recycling centres around the resort.
  • Upon departure, place all linen and towels in the bath/shower for collection and leave the unit in as tidy a state as possible to facilitate the changeover before the arrival of the next guests.
Bar & Restaurant
  • Seating within the bar and restaurant is limited.
  • Menus are disposable and will be replaced after each usage.
  • Only takeaway service is available for those who prefer to eat in their own apartment.
  • Guests are encouraged to use contactless payment or room charging to limit the use of cash on resort.
  • There is no live evening entertainment during the initial opening period.
  • Service / Hours: Breakfast / 07:00 – 10:00Dinner / Take-away / 18:00 – 21:30
  • The restaurant is closed Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s from the 28th February.
Communal Areas (incl pools)
  • Maintenance and cleaning teams ensure communal areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected using approved chemicals.
  • Areas of high contact are sprayed and disinfected frequently by the team.
  • Hand sanitisers/gels are available throughout the resort. Guests are encouraged to wash hands regularly with soap and use the hand sanitisers/gels.

Lifts

  • Hand sanitisers/gels are available on each floor. Guests are encouraged to use them before calling and entering the lift.
  • Only one person, or one family, to use the lift at a time.

Sunbeds & Pools

  • The pool area can be used from 8:00 to 22:00. Maximum number of people in the pool area is 20.
  • Sunbeds will be placed, within designated plots, according to the physical distance guidance of two meters.
  • The pool area is cleaned and sanitized several times a day.
Excursions & Activities
  • Excursions and activities are not available during the Winter season.
  • The use of table tennis and billiards are to be booked at Reception.
  • The children’s play room is closed. Plastic toys are available to from Reception.
Check Out
  • Check out time is 10am on day of departure.
  • Guests will receive a pro forma invoice one day before departure.
  • Only 1 member of the group is to go to Reception to check out and adhere to physical distancing.
  • We encourage guests to settle their bill on the night before departure where possible to speed up the check-out procedure.
  • Guests are encouraged to use contactless payment when settling their account.

Below you will find entry requirements for Austria. They are applicable to all visitors to Austria in addition to the regular requirements of passport/National ID etc, provided there is an agreement between Austria and the country of departure. Further information is available on your government’s website.

Entry to Austria

The Austrian Covid rules from 19 February to 4 March 2022.

  • “3-G”(fully vaccinated with at least 2 jabs or recovered) is required to enter all types of accommodation, restaurants, diners, cafés, cultural institutions, and leisure centres. It also applies when using ski lifts/cable cars, body related services (such as hair dressers) or when attending events (children under the age of 12 are exempt).
  • FFP2 masks remain mandatory in all public indoor areas, e. g. shops, public transport, restaurants when not seated etc.
  • 2-dose-vaccinations are valid for 180 days (210 days for under 18 year olds). After that a booster vaccine is required, which is valid for 270 days. Attention: The 1-dose vaccine by Johnson & Johnson requires a booster since 3 January 2022.
  • Restaurants/cafés/inns have a curfew at Midnight
  • Bars and clubs remain closed until 5th March when après-ski will be possible again as well.

Proof of Recovery

  • Proof of recovery can be used for 180 days to enter Austria. A medical certificate including the date of recovery is needed. Please note if travelling from the UK: An NHS email/text of a positive test is not sufficient.

COVID Test

  • The PCR test is valid for 72 hours. The certificate needs to be issued by an official medical authority (such as a test centre or a pharmacy) and include the date and time the test was taken.
  • LFT/antigen tests are valid for 48 hours. Do-it-yourself kits are not recognised.

Exception for Children

  • Children under the age of 12 do not need to show proof of vaccination/recovery or a test.

On 5 March, all Covid protection measures will be lifted except for mandatory FFP2 masks on public transports and in essential shops (supermarkets, post offices, banks, pharmacies)
