The Smile Foundation entertains youngsters from ADIMI

In October, The Smile Foundation organised a fun day for the youngsters of ADIMI, a Mijas association set up to assist people with disabilities.

Around 30 took part in the morning’s activities, exploring Club La Costa World by train before enjoying breakfast with other association members. Later, they took part in various activities such as dancing, music and painting.

ADIMI’s President, Cristobal Moreno welcomed the event, saying: “The youngsters are very happy today, and this is what we try to achieve: making them feel integrated and important.”

Moreno also took the opportunity to thank The Smile Foundation for its commitment to the F. Cruz Dias ADIMI Centre and stressed that thanks to this initiative “the life of people with disabilities in Mijas will change.”

The centre’s resources are in demand with 35 youngsters currently registered in the occupational workshop. According to the latest figures, the centre has attended to 104 patients this year, while 224 users participate in the infant-junior workshop.
