The Selwo Aventura in Estepona is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and to see amazing wild animals like giraffes, zebras, white rhinoceros, Australian Bearded Dragons … and while you are there you can also participate in activities such as Zuruka, trampolines, safari Serengeti, archery…
Paddle Surf Fuengirola is the best place to practice board activities in the water, with Windsurf, Paddle surf, Paddle Yoga and fitness on boards. It is a lot of fun; you can even go at night during the full moon and do paddle surf then. It is an unbelievable experience.

Watch exclusive shows and movies

The Starlite Concert Hall in Marbella is a meeting point for friends and celebrities of the cultural world, hosting shows every weekend from the likes of Elton John to The Cranberries. They also show movies and art expositions. The tickets to enter are not cheap but it’s an unforgettable experience.

Experience true Spanish culture

The Mijas Pueblo Feria involves traditional dancing, music and floral offerings. If you are here during the Mijas Pueblo Feria you should definitely go and experience the beauty that Spanish traditions hold. This is also a great place and moment to have a picture taken. The fair takes place in the second week of September.
Malaga’s Feria is also full of life, dancing, fair attractions and lots of fun. This fair has been a part of Malaga for years and years. Be a part of Spanish tradition and enjoy yourself. The fair takes in August (from the 12th to the 19th).

Eccentric, unique and indie places

San Chocolate café in Fuengirola. This café is decorated in a very vintage and indie style, with tables made of pencils, doors made of coins and mismatching chairs. This is the perfect place for an artsy picture and experiencing another way of life. They are very famous for their juices, teas and their breakfasts (their carrot cake is beyond divine).

Soho Malaga Art District is an initiative born of the citizens themselves to rehabilitate the district with art, music and culture. This district is filled to the brim with museums, art galleries, theatres, shopping, restaurants and bars. It is the perfect place to be surrounded by colour and life and experience the true passion of the Spanish for the arts.

Taste the different cuisine

La Galería in Fuengirola is a new and renovated alley in Fuengirola with almost a dozen stands of different food (typical Spanish food, sushi, steak house, French pastries …). This is a very luxurious looking place where, if you go early, you can enjoy the pleasures of great food surrounded by wonderful architecture.

Muelle 1 in Malaga is the perfect place to take pictures near the sea. It has a beach, a port with yachts and cruises and a great number of funky and modern restaurants (Japanese, TGB, Hollywood, La Taglietelle …)
If you are staying during the end of April and beginning of May, you can go and experience and taste cultures and cuisine from all around the world at the Feria de los Pueblos. More than 30 countries and Spanish regions participate, some being Cuba, Jamaica, Egypt, Finland, and even Argentina.

Want the ultimate “Tumblr” picture?

Museo Del Arte Contemporáneo (CAC Málaga) is a museum filled with new and contemporary artwork from up and coming artists. The entrance is free of charge and the museum is located near the El Corte Inglés shopping centre and the Starbucks cafe.
The Starbucks Coffee Shop is in the centre of Malaga and is part of the shopping centre El Corte Inglés. There is also another Starbucks in Mijas Costa which is closer to the resort and to Fuengirola and is also of El Corte Ingles Shopping Centre.
Graffiti on the river edge. Because the river that goes through Malaga is normally empty many artists have started decorating the sides of the canal with colourful artwork with graffiti. This can be used as a background for an amazing picture to remember Malaga by.

For the Shopaholics

The Miramar shopping centre has a variety of shops like Zara, Pull&Bear, Superdry … It also has a great variety of restaurants to choose from and a large cinema with movies shown in the original language.
The shopping centre in La Cañada is the biggest shopping centre in the coast with more than 100 shops to choose from like Hollister, Fnac, Zara, Springfield, Top Shop, Roxy, Adidas, an Apple store, H&M, Guess, Levis, Pepe Jeans, etc. They also have a variety of restaurants to choose from and a cinema showing the latest movies.
Automobile and Fashion Museum in the centre of Malaga and next to the Russian Museum, is a place where both boys and girls will find something they like. This museum is like a journey through the decades from the roaring 20’s to the 1950’s.
