The Hidden Hut
Describing themselves as “a small café with a big difference”, The Hidden Hut can be found on the coastal path near Potscatho and St Mawes on the Roseland Peninsula.
A quaint little beach hut, the food is served to takeaway and there’s no drinks licence, but bring your own bottle of wine or Cornish cider and dine at the tables outside. From Cornish pasties to seafood chowder or a fragrant tagine, you can finish up with freshly baked cake and Cornish ice-cream. It’s what UK summer holidays are all about!

A pub with good quality restaurant attached; and it’s a proper pub, you can go into the bar with muddy boots and damp dogs if you want. In the coastal village of Perranuthnoe, it’s a hop and a skip from the coastal path.
The food is always fresh and always local, from Porthleven lobster to West Country ribeye and Cornish cheeses and vegetables. The set lunch menu is very reasonable and the á la carte offerings won’t break the bank either.
