Austria

Situated just a 20-minute drive from CLC Alpine Centre, Bikepark Leogang is one of the largest and most spectacular parks of its kind in Europe.
The rope conveyer belt, ideal for younger riders, takes them up to the start of a scenic freeride course, or board the 8-passenger gondola lift at Asitz and head straight into one of the 9 routes. Bikes can be hired in advance.

Due to host the Mountain Bike Downhill World Championships for the second time in 2020, the Bikepark Leogang offers facilities for all abilities and age groups from beginners, who can complete their first jumps in the 10,000m Riders Playground Area to the experienced riders who can ‘shred’ their bikes on the world championship course. This demanding trail offers a combination of challenging, steep, technical and high-speed sections for the ultimate adrenalin-rush.

In addition to speeding around the amazing tracks and trails, biking fans can also enjoy a host of annual events and competitions as a rider or spectator.

Another great attraction at the Park is the GoPro Bagjump. Soar high and land softly on an enormous air cushion to break your fall. This is a great place for intermediate and advanced riders to learn new tricks or improve their style in the air!

Scotland

Within a 30-minute drive of CLC Duchally Country Estate, the world-class Enduro Trails, with daring downhill sections, stretch across Highland Perthshire.
Offering options for all the family, the guided tours are a great way to see the countryside and to tackle the natural obstacles that you may normally ride around or push over. By practising the tougher sections, you will not only develop your riding skills, you will boost your confidence.

Boasting thousands of acres of mountain biking territory, the Tay Valley attracts fans from all over Europe who want to experience full on, adrenalin-packed trails amid some of the most beautiful countryside in the world.

The Highland Perthshire Enduro, Dunkeld and the surrounding areas of the Tay Valley have a wide choice of routes that range from easy rides along the riverside to full day guided tours in the hills. Challenging single-track routes are also popular with the more experienced riders.

Some of the most secret parts of the Tay Valley are waiting to be explored. Tackle your technique, wind and weave through deep highland forest tracks and learn a range of technical tricks along the way. Trails can also be arranged along Loch Ordie – enjoy a scenic picnic lunch on route. World-class mountain bike kit is also available to hire.

Spain

The Costa del Sol may not naturally come to mind as a top mountain-biking destination, but the rugged landscapes around the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, behind Marbella and to the east of the Ronda road, make for exciting, adrenalin-fuelled tracks and trails – some of the best mountain biking in Europe.
Why not combine a beach holiday on the Costa del Sol, with a day’s mountain biking in the hills? CLC Club La Costa World is just a 90-minute drive from Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park.

The Natural Park of Sierra de las Nieves is located inside the natural region of the Serrania de Ronda and offers riders deep ravines and spectacular gorges. It is home to one of the biggest populations of Spanish Ibex and roe deer can also be spotted in the park.

Guided bike tours allow you and the family to explore the stunning, unique landscapes of Malaga with routes adapted to your fitness levels. This is one of the best ways to explore Andalucia’s wild side, surrounded by dense forests and lush olive groves.

Not only will you enjoy breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside, you can also ride along Torrecilla – at 1,919m high – one of the highest peaks in the region.

Whether you prefer a gentle ride in the hills, a death-defying jaunt down steep and rugged trails or a family fun day out, you will find everything you are looking for within easy reach of your CLC World resorts in Austria, Scotland and Spain.
