CLC World resorts & Hotels

Club La Costa Members Blog

At CLC World, we’ve made the most of a difficult time by turning our hands to improvements on your resorts.

Alongside the annual planned maintenance, these are just a few of the projects we are undertaking to make your CLC World holiday the best ever.

Team Marina at Santa Cruz Suites

Following the changes to Team Marina at CLC Marina del Sol a couple of years ago – which proved to be a big hit – we’re updating the Team Marina space at CLC Santa Cruz Suites on the Costa del Sol.

Following on from the theme of the Safari restaurant next door, the new space will be interactive and fun to spend time in.

Separate areas are designed for different age groups: up to 7 years; above 7 years. There is a jungle chill out zone, stage, PlayStation/video game zone, and areas for arts and crafts.

The decoration is jungle/safari themed with tactile and colourful elements to inspire and engage the children.

Work is currently underway, and we’re excited to unveil the final look in a few months’ time.

Reception at Paradise

First impressions count and while our Reception team always has a welcoming smile, it was time to give CLC Paradise a Reception area it deserves.

The new Reception is next to the vertical garden wall. Light, bright and modern – it will be an inviting space in which to meet the team and start your Tenerife holiday.

Garden rooms in Cornwall

CLC Trenython Manor sits in beautiful grounds with views down to St. Austell Bay. It makes sense, therefore, to create hotel rooms that have direct access to this wonderful scenery.

Four new garden rooms are under construction. The old conference suite has been repurposed to create rooms with stylish en-suite in enchanting Cornwall ready to book from October 2021.

Plans are also in place to increase the lodge accommodation, giving you even more opportunity to enjoy Trenython Manor.

Monterey Apartments

At CLC Monterey, work has been ongoing as we completely refurbish 12 one-bedroom apartments. The apartments will have completely new floors, walls, and patio doors on to the private balcony or terrace.

The main swimming pool and children’s pools have all been emptied and re-grouted ready for when we re-open.

Sunningdale Village Pool

When you next enjoy the refreshing pool at CLC Sunningdale Village, the eagle eyed among you may notice it has been completely re-grouted.

What you won’t see, however, is all the work that has gone on behind the scenes. New water tanks have been fitted, and the pool room has had an overhaul. All this means you can enjoy your time on Tenerife even more.

Duchally Country Estate

The team have been busy planning for more lodge accommodation at CLC Duchally Country Estate in Scotland. The new scheme is ready to be presented to the planning authorities for additional luxury lodges and refurbished lodge balconies.

On a green note, we have also made improvements to our eco-friendly BioMass system.

Five times more fun on the river

At CLC Canaltime, we’ve already floated our newest assets – five new narrowboats. Yet there’s more in store as we have placed an order for a further twenty of these beautifully crafted boats in the coming years.
