CLC World Dining: What’s on the menu this New Year’s Eve?

As the festive season approaches, our talented chefs are promising an array of unforgettable CLC World dining experiences, whether in Spain on the Costa del Sol and Tenerife, or closer to home in Cornwall or Scotland. Here is a selection of the taste sensations that await you this New Year’s Eve at some of our CLC World restaurants.

Club La Costa World on the Costa del Sol


At CLC World’s resorts & hotels on the Costa del Sol, live music, fine dining and Spanish wine are on the menu, and a vegetarian version is available on request.

Welcome cocktail
Fennel and king prawn bisque
with fresh green scallions
Marinated monkfish and smoked pancetta brochettes
with crispy grilled potato
Beef Wellington with creamy sautéed mushrooms and a splash of sherry
served with vegetables and rosemary sauce

CLC Monterey Tenerife


As the sun sets on 2018, Sunset Restaurant is the place to welcome in 2019 in the Canary Islands with live music from 20:00. On the dinner menu this New Year’s Eve at CLC World Tenerife:

Mixed selection of “ibérico” cold cuts and cheeses
Served with toasted naan bread, rocket leaves and Dijon mustard-cranberry balsamic dressing
Fruits of the sea
Mixed seafood sautéed with rosé wine, ginger and lemon
Fillet steak
Served with oven cooked potatoes, layered vegetables
and a “Sangre de Toro” sauce
Tuna mignon
On a tempered zucchini (courgette) carpaccio, mashed sweet potato and red pesto

CLC Duchally Country Estate


New Year’s Eve is such an event in Scotland that they’ve even got their own name for it, Hogmanay! And our country estate nestled in the Perthshire countryside is such a popular choice of venue to celebrate it that Monteaths, the resort’s award-winning restaurant, is already fully booked. But that doesn’t mean you can’t soak up the atmosphere in our Whisky Bar where the live music starts at 20.00h. A piper will also be present to greet all guests, in true Hogmanay style.
