Watts Gallery

Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village is a unique Arts & Crafts gem nestled in the Surrey Hills. Discover Victorian paintings and sculpture in the historic Watts Gallery before treating yourself to lunch or a cream tea in the Tea Shop.

Wander to the Grade I listed Watts Chapel, taking in the beautiful woodlands and grounds. Find out about the lives of G F and Mary Watts at Watts Studios before taking a tour of the artists’ home, Limnerslease. Make Space is a drop-in workshop with a different art activity every Sunday. Guildford Cathedral

Guildford Cathedral is a modern Cathedral with a beautiful interior and an amazing story. Built by donations from the thousands of people who bought a brick. It was the concept and design of a single mind: architect Sir Edward Maufe. The last Church of England Cathedral consecrated on a new site (1961), it combines Gothic tradition with 20th century construction.

The design has a special atmosphere of tranquillity, light and space.  Some of you may recognise it from the original film The Omen with Gregory Peck.

Denbies Wine Estate

Denbies Wine Estate is England’s largest single-estate winery. 265 acres of vines produce quality award winning wine.  Visit the Estate and take a tour, sample the wines with a tasting, explore the art gallery and local farm shop. Excellent on-site facilities include tours, tastings, art gallery, shopping, brewery, local farm shop, restaurants and hotel. Free car parking.

A wide range of new physically distanced autumn/winter winery and vineyard events have been introduced for guests to enjoy.  Denbies is an all-weather great destination in the heart of the Surrey Hills wine country.

RHS Garden Wisley

Wisley Garden is a natural artist palette. In spring, huge swathes of crocus join glorious displays of magnolias, rhododendrons and fruit blossom. Summer’s colours are beautiful roses, meadow flowers and mixed borders. Vibrant autumnal shades lead to vivid winter tones evergreens, berries, and sparkling frost walks.

Home to exotic plants, the Glasshouse is a great place to explore whatever the weather. The garden provides an inspirational backdrop for sculpture exhibitions, Craft Fairs and courses in gardening, photography and art. Garden fully accessible.



Bocketts Farm Park

A working family farm, Bocketts Farm snuggles in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Watch the pig race, take a pony ride, hop on board the tractor and trailer, feed and stroke the many farm animals from cute lambs to beautiful bunnies.

The combination of animals and play areas make this farm one of the South East’s most popular all weather attractions. With trampolines, giant slides, 2 large indoor play barns and outdoor adventure trails in the play area, it’s a great family day out.



Brooklands Museum

Brooklands was the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit and is now home to collections of cars, motorcycles and bicycles, particular from the heyday of the track. It’s not just ground speed that gets the adrenaline racing here, the skies are the limit.

Take a supersonic journey with the Mach 2 Tour. Enter the life of the jet set as the Brooklands Concorde Crew guide you under the wings and through the cabin of the world’s fastest aircraft.

Painshill Park

An award-winning 18th century landscape garden where winding paths take you on a journey of awe-inspiring vistas and beautiful garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.


The sparkling Crystal Grotto is a magical cave built with a more naturalistic view than many of its European contemporaries. Sunlight pierces the apertures hitting the crystals to dramatic effect.  The whole park is a living piece of art.
