DINING AT CLUB LA COSTA WORLD

CALIFORNIA EATING

Resort dining is an integral part of the holiday experience and a quality option is Safari restaurant. This is your invitation to go on a gastronomic trip to faraway lands (whilst also enjoying favourite dishes from closer to home) from an extensive and diverse à la carte menu. Here, dining under the stars is the most natural thing to do.

Guests can also feel the summer breeze beside the Sunrise poolside bar where light snacks and tall drinks are served throughout the day. Whereas Sunset Lounge is a venue of two halves: on one hand enjoy a nice cup of tea overlooking sparkling views across the Mediterranean, yet when the sun goes down, the venue comes alive with music and dance.

Alternatively, you can choose from other eateries around the resort, such as Zacary’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, El Rancho and Sam’s Pantry.

(Depending on the season and weather conditions, Management may change the opening times and services in the restaurant and bars)

THINGS TO DO

The resorts benefit from a dazzling array of facilities including fabulous swimming pools, kids’ pools and Jacuzzi pools, sun terraces, tennis courts, restaurants, bars, a shop, a minimarket, a cafe with bakery, fitness centre, kids’ club and a very handy resort road train.

THINGS TO DO

AROUND THE RESORT

The best of the Costa del Sol is at your fingertips. Basking in 320+ days of annual sunshine, the region is your holiday playground.  Families will be amazed at the choice of wonderful attractions on offer close by, including the dolphinarium at Selwo Marina, the Teleferico cable car with its panoramic mountain-top views, Bioparc Fuengirola  and the ever-popular Tivoli World for ‘kids’ of all ages.

A short stroll from the resort (it’s hard to miss) is the spectacular Castillo Sohail (Sohail Castle), which was built in AD956 to strengthen the Moorish coastal defences. During its long and turbulent history, the castle was structurally altered to suit different ages (the Christian army took control of in 18th century followed by its occupation by Napoleon’s troops during the War of Independence at the beginning of 19th century). When its importance as a strategic stronghold diminished, the fortress was abandoned and left in ruins until it was meticulously restored in 1989. Today, it stands as a remarkable open-air auditorium for concerts and festivals, and is open all year round to enjoy.
