The city that never sleeps can be seen from the point of view of photographer Antonio Martín in a new exhibition that opened on January 17 and runs until February 15.
The exhibition called ‘Serendipity’ is taking place at the Casa de la Cultura and carries the slogan ‘Stroll through Manhattan without leaving Fuengirola’. The collection consists of some 77 pictures in both black and white and colour that reflect the urban landscape of Manhattan and the people of the Big Apple.
Málaga born Antonio Martín is a well known photographer here in Spain and is an active member of the Association of Professional Photographers of Spain (AFP). He has worked for agencies like Rubicam Widescope and Helvetia on advertising campaigns for the likes of Colgate, Breton, Omed, LA Levia, Maiden Beach, Fuengirola Beach and Canes among others.
His photographs have been part of group exhibitions throughout Spain and the exhibition ‘Serendipity’ has had great success in Mijas, Cordoba, Canal Sur in Málaga and the Málaga University.
In 2010 he was awarded the Silver LUX by the Association of Professional Photographers of Spain (AFP).
CLC World guests staying with us here on the Costa del Sol can take the short journey into Fuengirola and take their very own stroll through the streets of New York.
