Have you ever wondered how other people celebrate Christmas in their native countries? If so, head to the Plaza de la Mezquita in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena this Saturday for the Festival of Christmas Traditions.
The event will be perfect for all the family to get into the festive spirit and enjoy the Christmas celebrations from nearly 20 different nationalities from around the world.
Visitors will see a wonderful array of traditional costumes, folklore and Christmas traditions and can enjoy colourful exhibitions from nationalities including Germany, Poland, Finland, Colombia, Peru, Jamaica, Senegal and the UK.
No International fair would be complete without food and this fair is set not to disappoint as stalls will be full of local culinary delights typical of this time of the year.
Guests staying at CLC World on the Costa del Sol will find Arroyo de la Miel within easy reach either by car or public transport. The suburban train line that starts in Fuengirola stops in central Arroyo and from there Plaza de la Mezquita is just a short walk along the main street.
The Festival of Christmas Traditions starts at 12pm and runs until 8pm in the evening.
