Turning up the heat at Hustyns

Wednesday night entertainment has taken a new turn with summer’s hot temperatures and the introduction of a weekly Bar-B-Que night – weather permitting – at Hustyns resort in Cornwall.

Pictured adding a Spanish flavour to the first of these, Hustyns’ chef Manuel – a temporary posting from his regular position in Spain – cooked a giant paella, while the resort’s own kitchen staff got to work grilling locally made sausages and burgers, along with pulled pork, Chicken Margarita, Cornish sardines and kebabs – served with unlimited salad and relishes.001

It was all hands to the task of serving food and drink al fresco, with games and activities for kids and the resort’s regular family quiz night, which was also moved outdoors.

Resort General Manager Jamie Alexander says: “Everyone in the UK loves an excuse for a barbie; especially when temperatures tip into the 30s. Unlike our Spanish counterparts in Malaga, we have to make the most of it while it lasts.”
