Early start for live show – but great advice!

Mercy Campbell, aged 8, and her five-year-old sister Eden, put their drawing skills to good use and showed off their pictures during a live television broadcast from Club La Costa World on the Costa del Sol.

The girls, and parents Hamish and Kendal Campbell, CLC World members from Scotland, were up bright and early with other guests to help ITV’s breakfast show Good Morning Britain look at ways of making your holiday euro go further.

Money expert Martin Lewis broadcast live into the breakfast show from Sunrise pool at California Beach Resort and our guests got a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how television works.

Martin chatted to guests about how they arranged their car hire insurance and rental and his motto for booking a car is: BOOK EARLY! Later on in the programme he talked about the importance of always carrying an EHIC medical card when on holiday and discovered to his horror that some of our guests don’t have one! His firm advice was to make sure that not only is your card up-to-date but that it is kept in a bag, wallet or pocket at all times – it’s no good bringing it and leaving it in your accommodation should you have an accident.

Excellent advice from Martin, and a big thank-you to all our holidaymakers for getting up so early to take part in the programme.
