Malaga Airport taxi drivers threaten strike action

Members and Guests due to arrive at Malaga Airport between Monday 25th March and Monday 1st April should be aware that the Malaga Airport taxi drivers have threatened to strike during this period.

Picket lines may affect all those in transit and for this reason it is recommended that you allow extra travel time to and from the airport.

For anyone who has already booked a taxi through Club La Costa Travel, our supplier has confirmed that their drivers will not be taking part in the demonstrations and will continue to provide the necessary services to the best of their ability, but there could be problems picking up and dropping off guests.

The main issue which may arise is restricted access to/from the airport buildings due to the demonstrators. Should you encounter any problems on arrival, please follow the instructions as shown on your voucher.

In order to avoid any unnecessary delays, we strongly recommend our Guests and Members who have not yet made any transfer arrangements to the resort to contact Club La Costa Travel to take advantage of one of our special car hire offers and avoid using public transport which may be affected during that time.

For more information, please contact Club La Costa Travel on 0800 031 9707. Our offices open from Monday to Friday from 09.00 am to 7.00 pm (UK) and Saturday from 09.00am to 4pm (UK)
